KT Rama Rao, the Minister for IT and Industries, is set to inaugurate Nizamabad’s new IT Hub on Wednesday. The sprawling hub, constructed by the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC), spans 50,000 square feet and offers a plug-and-play seating capacity of 750. This cutting-edge facility is equipped with the latest technology and modern amenities tailored for contemporary businesses.
Nizamabad has garnered global attention, with numerous companies expressing interest. Many have already signed up, recognizing the city’s potential to become a prominent IT hub. This stands as a testament to Nizamabad’s promising growth and development prospects.
To encourage more companies to join the IT Hub, the Telangana government is offering incentives in the first year, where companies only cover maintenance costs, and rental costs commence from the second year. This initiative aims to facilitate businesses in establishing a presence in the region, further stimulating the local economy.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Minister KT Rama Rao shared: “I will be inaugurating a new IT Hub in Nizamabad city tomorrow as part of our efforts to take the IT sector to Tier 2 cities & towns. The IT Hub will also have an embedded T-Hub and TASK centre to help youngsters innovate and upskill.”
The Government of Telangana, in collaboration with IT Serve Alliance USA and various global enterprises, is diligently working to promote and expand IT and ITES services to Tier II and III cities throughout the state.
