The 7th South Asian Taekwondo Championship will be held in Hyderabad at the GMC Balayogi Sports Complex, Gachibowli Stadium from August 4. The event is organized by the Taekwondo Association of Telangana, in association with the Taekwondo Association of India and the Taekwondo Association of Karnataka.
The championship will run for three days and feature competitions in various categories, such as patterns, sparring, power breaking, and self-defense. Participants from different age groups, starting from Under-14 to veterans, will compete for honors. Around 1000 delegates from eight countries, including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, and 12 Indian States, will take part in the event.
