Tamil Producers Association has taken a strong stance by issuing red cards to Dhanush, Simbu (Silambarasan), Vishal, and Atharva due to their uncooperative behavior.
Dhanush failed to fulfill his long-standing commitment to Sri Thenandal Films, resulting in financial losses for the production house. He was expected to direct a film for Sri Thenandal Films.
Simbu’s involvement in the film ‘Anbavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan’ left a lasting negative impact on his career. The film, produced by Michael Rayappan, saw Simbu leaving the project prematurely, causing significant financial losses to the producer.
Vishal is facing allegations of mishandling funds belonging to the association.
Atharva, on the other hand, faced a complaint from producer Mathiyazhagan of Etcetera Entertainment in 2019. The complaint stemmed from Atharva’s failure to uphold his commitments. Mathiyazhagan had produced a film titled ‘Semma Botha Aagathey’ with Atharva, which did not perform well at the box office. After the film’s underwhelming reception, Atharva had agreed to work on another project under Mathiyazhagan’s production but did not fulfill that promise. It remains to be seen how these actors will respond to this issue.
