Vishnu Manchu’s long-awaited dream project, ‘Kannappa,’ has taken its first formal steps. The auspicious pooja ceremony was held in the divine town of Sri Kalahasti, marking the beginning of this grand undertaking. The PAN Indian film will be produced on a massive budget by Vishnu’s father, the legendary actor Shri Mohan Babu, under the banners of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for the Mahabharata series on Star Plus, ‘Kannappa’ will feature Nupur Sanon as the female lead. The film’s plot has been crafted by Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad. Music composition will be helmed by Manisharma and Stephen Devasi.
The film’s central theme revolves around depicting the significance of Kannappa’s devotion to Lord Shiva. Vishnu aims to bring out this narrative with profound impact.
