In a tragic incident on the outskirts of Hyderabad, a 23-year-old woman, B. Prameela, lost her life after being pushed in front of a water tanker by her boyfriend, Tirupati Naik, aged 25. The shocking event unfolded on Sunday when Prameela confronted Tirupati about his engagement with another woman.
Initially, Tirupati claimed that the incident was an accident. However, upon thorough investigation by the police, the truth came to light. Prameela, who hailed from Kamareddy district, had moved to Hyderabad for work after the death of her husband last year. She was working as a sales girl in a showroom in Bachupally.
Police revealed that Prameela and Tirupati, who also hailed from Kamareddy district, had fallen in love. However, things took a tragic turn when Prameela discovered that Tirupati had gotten engaged to another woman. Feeling betrayed, Prameela had been urging him to marry her and threatened to inform their parents.
On the day of the incident, Prameela asked Tirupati to meet her. He arrived at Bachupally main road on his motorcycle, accompanied by a friend. During the meeting, a heated argument ensued, leading to a physical fight between Prameela and Tirupati. In a fit of rage, Tirupati pushed her under a passing water tanker, resulting in her immediate death. He attempted to mislead locals and the police, claiming it was an accident.
